Pentagram rebrands the Museum of Arts and Design

Michael Beirut and other member of the Pentagram New York staff just finished up a new graphic identity for the recently reopened Museum of Arts and Design. I highly recommend that you check out more images and read about the process here. I am looking forward to checking out the museum on my next trip to New York. Hopefully that will exist in the near future.

Think Tank

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Think Tank, an event that the Nashville Chapter of AIGA puts on each year. I attended this event last year which definitely wet my appetite for becoming more involved with the local chapter. Think Tank is a day long event which attempts to answer the question, “What’s next in communication arts?” The process is through series of speakers as well as a round table discussion.

Nashville on E

So….Nashville has basically run out of gas. As much as I have enjoyed the mass hysteria, my tank is starting to get a bit low and it doesn’t look like things will be getting any better until Friday. I am hoping to have enough to get out of town to see Chip Kidd speak tomorrow night. Hopefully, I will find some when I get out of the city.

Anyway, some friends sent me this video which is very much fitting.
